Due to the growing awareness of celiac disease and a larger public health concern over wheat, many people have begun to follow gluten free diets. Such a regime removes an important protein that’s found in many baked goods, like breads for example, as well as sauces and soups. However, this doesn’t not mean that your diet is suddenly limited. On such a diet, you are no longer getting a bulk of needed calories from bread goods, so you need to find another source of calories. This can mean more proteins as well as more vegetables and fruits. When your diet becomes more focused on these products, you’ll need greater variety of servings to keep you excited. Many books also specialize in helping you plan your meals in advance so that you can get a balance of your nutritional needs as well.
However this doesn’t mean that you can’t have any baked goods. Many stores, bakeries, and restaurants specialize in such diets and have breads, desserts, and pastas available for purchase or available in house for you to try.
